We have teamed up with a host of other bloggers to create The Ultimate Collection of Freefrom Pancakes. Creamy Cheesy Vegan Potato & Kale Spring Salad, perfect way to banish those winter blues and full of immune boosting vitamins to keep the bugs away! This dish is freefrom most of the Top14 allergens as its freefrom dairy, eggs & soy as well as gluten (check cornichon ingredients) but noone will be able to tell the difference! This is a great stand alone salad that is delicious warm and even better cold the day after. It also makes a great side dish to your favourite grilled fish, meat or vegan alternative. Christmas is nearly upon us… yep I’ve said it! And the weather, even down here, has turned cold. This One Pot Slow Cooked Ham in a Dairyfree, Creamy Sage Sauce is the perfect dinner to warm everyone up on a cold winters day. Peachicks are big fans of ham joints, you know the big ones that are roasted, basted & glazed for the Christmas celebrations! Well they are actually a really lovely, cheap and fuss free way to feed the family the whole year through.   Its also quite nice to arrive home from work and have food already sorted so happily this dish works as well in a casserole dish on the hob (1hour) or in a slow cooker left to its own devices for the day on low! AND bonus – not only does it all cook in one pot but this is a very cheap family […]

These little Healthy Cookie Dumplings are really cute, because the mixture doesn’t spread they keep their little dumpling shape and were named Cookie Dumplings by the Peachicks.  They are dairyfree, eggfree and glutenfree (contain oats) and are brilliant for lunchboxes and after gym snacks.  They are packed with nutrients, although I would recommend leaving the nuts out for school lunchboxes as a lot of schools have no nuts policies.  These would also be AMAZING with small apple chunks in it! These cookie dumplings are lovely and soft but full of yummy crunchy seeds and cashew nuts.  The great thing about these is that they are easy to make and infinitely adaptable – all you have to do is use your favourite seeds, nuts or dried fruits. You may have noticed that its the time of year when my instagram and facebook feeds are full of Aspire Swim updates. Having got […]

Healthy Cookie Dumplings (dairyfree, eggfree, glutenfree)

Its coming up to the end of our shopping month and the store of fresh food in this house is fairly low.  In times like this I turn to the freezer and cupboards for supplies, plus our veggies that are starting to grow!  There is nothing nicer than going into the garden to pick the veggies and then eating them for dinner.  This Glutenfree Tuna Pasta & Dairyfree Veggie Sauce is lovely, its really colourful and quick to make so a real winner with the Peachicks!  The recipe is glutenfree, eggfree, dairyfree and soyafree and contains mostly store cupboard & freezer ingredients alongside fresh Rainbow Chard and Sage from the veggie patch.   Using the sweetcorn in the sauce and blitzing it with a stick blender means that it becomes thick and creamy without any cream or floury thickening agents.  It also adds another portion of veggies and makes the sauce […]

GlutenFree Tuna Pasta & Dairyfree Veggie Sauce

This Vegan Raspberry & Pomegranate Cheesecake is really lovely, the raspberry and pomegranate toppings work really well with the passionfruit in the yoghurt/cream cheese filling.  Use Glutenfree biscuits for the base for a completely Top14 free dessert!  Cheesecake has to be one of my favourite puddings, but obviously with an egg and dairy allergy is something that I have been wanting to find a suitable alternative for, for a while. Being able to find a suitable dairyfree cream cheese has been difficult as we also have soya allergy to contend with (Apparently Tesco & Bute Island are nice soya cream cheeses). Thankfully our local Asda has started stocking both Koko dairyfree yoghurts and Violife Cream Cheese and I have been meaning to try out a recipe with them when I saw a really lovely looking Lime & White Chocolate Cheesecake from Kirsty over at Hijacked with Twins.  I adapted the […]
