Read all about my #BlogCampOnBoard experience on the beautiful MSC Preziosa & why I think an MSC cruise would be a good family holiday for us & the Inlaws to enjoy together! We get the amazing kids facilities and family centered holiday we need and they still get the glitzy glamour that they go cruising for. The Preziosa is absolutely beautiful, with a definite Art Deco feel. Old time glamour with a few modern touches, all alongside the medical facilities and ease of wheelchair access we would need. The welcoming atmosphere on board, also means that I wouldn’t have to spend the entire time worrying that The Peachicks had dared to set foot anywhere!

I am notoriously hopeless at remembering both Daddy Peacock’s Birthday and our Wedding Anniversary. In fact the only thing I am worse at, is actually buying him a decent present. Partly because he is so hard to buy for and partly because if he wants something he usually buys it for himself. So when UncommonGoods asked me if I would like to give their fab range of Men’s gift guides a go, I jumped at the chance! (how many wifey brownie points does this get me?!)
This weekend is THE event of any FreeFromers Calendar – its the The Allergy & FreeFrom Show in Olympia! As always it is co-locating with both the Just V show (veggie, vegan) AND Love You Love Natural (home, beauty & more) so it is absolutely HUGE! Billed as ‘the world’s largest celebration of ‘free from’ food, drink and lifestyle products’ there really is something for everyone – hardest part is working out how to carry it all home! Our tip don’t leave home without a trolley suitcase and a cool bag!
Lettuce. When I was a kid it came in 2 kinds – the crunchy one (iceberg) or that weird papery one! Today you don’t have to go to any special shops to find all sorts of different varieties at lots of different prices! There is absolutely no need to pay these hefty prices, lettuce is ridiculously easy to grow. All it needs is a bit of soil, some water and protection from slugs. It will even grow in the shade and underneath or in between other crops! We have absolutely loads of it at No17, our little allotment so here are our Top Tips for Growing & Eating Lettuce!
